Derby County Football Club Women

Ewe Rams Delighted to Bring FTI Ltd Partnership on Board

Derby County Women are delighted to announce a new partnership with FTI Ltd for the 2020/21 season which will see them adorn the shirts of our Under 16 Academy side.

FTI are one of the UK’s premier suppliers of instrumentation products and services and are based out of Crowborough in East Sussex where they pride themselves on delivering top quality products, technical expertise and service in order to achieve total customer satisfaction by providing a best value supply package.

Speaking on behalf of FTI Ltd, Sales and marketing Director Karl Kingston spoke of his delight at partnering with the club and said “We are really pleased to partner with Derby County Women and specifically their Academy where we believe our matching ethos on growth will be of mutual benefit.

“We know the power of football and women’s football is so visible and its impact for growth will be huge despite the current challenging circumstances we are all facing. Being able to align with a brand as strong as Derby County Women will showcase our company to new business and that is huge for us.

“Personally, as a football fan, I know the impact that the game can have on your wellbeing and being able to support youngsters who are looking to make their way in the game during these times is very important to us. Being able to take the pressure off the players knowing they are supported, played a big part in partnering with the club.”

With the challenging business environment that many are facing, football and particularly women’s football are needing the support more than ever, something that isn’t lost on Ewe Rams CEO Duncan Gibb who is grateful for the trust shown by Karl and his team.

Duncan said “We are really pleased to have partnered with Karl and the team at FTI Ltd and hope for a long and successful partnership. That word alone ‘Partnership’ is even more relevant during these times and we can’t thank them enough for aligning with us here at Derby County Women.

“We’ve always been known to go above and beyond for our partners and whilst they are supporting us, it is important that we do as much as we can for FTI Ltd as well and that reason alone is why we have our Club Partner Liaison Director to ensure that we are doing what we promised and more!

“Any new business in this climate is appreciative and we want to turn that new business into retention business. We’ve lost a few partnerships this year because of the business climate but we’ve been buoyed that each one of them has indicated their intention to return in better circumstances but we are in a good place and that can be see by Karl and his team’s commitment to us.”
